Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has outlined his plan for the state's recovery following the current lockdown today, with stage four restrictions to be extended for 2 weeks from midnight on September 13, though some changes will be made. Some restrictions will ease during the extended stage four lockdown, including daily exercise allowance being increased to two hours, as well as widening the definition of what permitted during that time. Playgrounds will re-open, as well as moving the curfew time to start at 9pm. Melbourne singles will also be allowed to nominate one person to visit their home. The restrictions, which came into effect from 2 August, have been introduced by the Victorian government as health authorities work to reduce community COVID-19 transmissions across the state.
