Bicycle designer B.G. Bowden with his new bicycle, which he is taking to the offices of the Council of Industrial Design, London, for inclusion in the 'Britain Can Make It Better' exhibition, 17th September 1946. Innovative features of the bicycle include, a hub dynamo/motor, which stores energy while the bicycle is travelling downhill and releases it on uphill gradients, as well as shaft drive, an instrument panel and an optional radio.
